In a land of awesome breakfast tacos, this place stands out. Worth the drive from the north side, the breakfast tacos are simple, delicious, and generous. We come back here frequently, but not often enough!

Always the best service and taste super friendly and helpful I just loveeeeeeeee it there best food

Never a muss here at te Original Paulitas location. Food is just as important remembered as a kid. Took a coworker and he was impressed too. Super local flavored big tacos and endless flavor. Order anything you wont be disappointed. And the coffee is excellent!

Great tasting food. Large portions. Quick service. Courteous staff. Small place but cozy is no problem when food is great tasting.

On a recent trip down to Laredo, a coworker of mine called me and said I have to meet him for tacos, and I have to try Paulita's. Hungry for tacos, and up for an adventure, I obliged. I punched in the address in my GPS and commanded my vehicle to take me at once. After cruising through some sketchy parts of town, I was leary of what my buddy was getting me into. This side of town was looking pretty rough. But, I have heard that these are the types of places that you get legendary tacos at. Upon arrival I parked on an street adjacent to the restaurant. Mi amigo was waiting outside as the inside was crowded and no seats were available. My friend had ordered me two bacon, egg, and cheese tacos; and he ordered himself one bacon, egg, and cheese taco along with a bacon, egg, and potato taco. After shooting the breeze a bit, handful of folks exited, and mi amigo and I went in and grabbed a seat. The restaurant was a bit older, but well kept, and a small cozy place. A very nice older lady approached our table and spoke with mi amigo. It was all in Spanish, but I did comprehend when she asked me what I wanted to drink. Agua, por favor. My buddy and I had a nice chat, catching up on old times, and we were brought tacos shortly thereafter. We were handed our tacos, and we proceeded to dive right in. I opened my taco and just took a huge bite. This was a very large taco and it was full of goodies. I did, however, manage to bite right into the wrong taco, as the waitress mixed our order up. This was not too big of a deal, and we both enjoyed our tacos anyway. This was my bad for being overly excited and hungry from the drive. The tacos were delicious. I decided to take a walk on the wild side, and dress my taco up with the green sauce that was included. I am glad I did, because the sauce was delicious, and packed a good punch, without knocking out my tastebuds out with too much heat. I ended up eating one taco, and taking the other to go. These tacos are huge, and one did the trick. Next time, I will only order one taco. I definitely recommend Paulita's for breakfast tacos. They were very delicious, and filled me up. I would say if you are a gringo, try and find a buddy who speaks Spanish to take with you. I was the only gringo in that place, and could not have done it without him. All kidding aside, the staff was very friendly. I will definitely be back the next time my travels find me in Laredo. Audios, amigos! Enjoy!

Everytime I'm in Laredo, I try to order from Paulita's ... always great food and friendly staff!!!

Love this Paulitas!!! The other Palutias restaurants should learn from this one :D the taco i had was Delicious and flavorful! Me callo muy bien y el menudo tambien! I will go back again when i have money! The ladies who work there are wonderful and nice!

I was next door getting an oil change in my car at Checkers and decided to grab a quick bite to eat. Very authentic mom and pop shop. I was here around noon on a Saturday and they were fairly busy. Very nice people and they had this nice jazz music in, very soothing and actually a upscale feel, if you close your eyes. I was torn between ordering the tacos, which I spray it was the worlds largest tacos made with homemade tortillas or caldo de rez, The beef soup. I ended up ordering the beef soup and it was amazing. It's like going to your Mexican grandma's house and having her make something from scratch. It was loaded with lots of beef, cabbage, zucchini, celery, and tomatoes. I tasted really fresh and they served it with a side of rice which I decided not to do because I'm watching my carbs and subbed out the flour tortillas for corn tortillas instead. It was a very big portion compared to some of the other places I've gone to for beef soup, which tend to skip on the meats and vegetables. And all for just under $8 and I have left overs! Yay! I'm coming here again next time to try their tacos!

The food here is great. My favorite is a taco de guisado with avocado and beans. Everything on the menu is delicious.

These are some of the best breakfast tacos you can get! They're large and stuffed. The tortillas are handmade. I hadn't gone to this place since high school, but recently a friend and I went. I fell in love all over again. With the food, not my friend. Sorry T. The food is great. The service is friendly. Sometimes a bit slow, but considering it's only one waitress and it was a busy morning the last time I ate there, I'll let it slide. When she managed to check on us, she brought everything we asked for quickly. They do offer take out. Which is what I have been doing lately. It's not just breakfast tacos either. They have a breakfast menu and a lunch menu. The food is good. I wish they served dinner too. I would recommend this place to anyone who loves breakfast tacos. The prices are very fair.
